Most people look for ways to give back, but for Danielle Major, that commitment is a year-round pursuit. As a senior associate at RSM US LLP, Danielle balances a busy career with a personal focus on philanthropy.

A connection that changed everything

In 2017, Danielle’s world shifted when her Auntie Suzanne was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. She received care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where she worked with an extraordinary team of doctors and healthcare professionals and participated in clinical trials.

For Danielle and her family, MSK quickly became more than a hospital. It became a source of hope and additional time spent with their loved one.

Finding purpose through Cycle for Survival

During Suzanne’s treatment, Danielle’s family discovered Cycle for Survival, a four-hour indoor cycling challenge sponsored by MSK. What stood out immediately was the mission behind it:  This fundraiser is so special because 100% of every dollar supports rare cancer research, treatments, and care for patients and their families,” Danielle said.

That mission resonated deeply. In February 2026, Danielle and her family, known as TeamSuzanneK, will ride for the seventh consecutive year. Each event brings together doctors, patients, families, and supporters, creating space not just for fundraising, but for remembrance and gratitude.

“We continue to ride every year for her legacy and to support MSK!” Danielle shared.

Why giving back matters

When Danielle had the opportunity to direct a donation to MSK, the choice was immediate.

Suralink’s contribution supports the same research, care, and programs that once supported her family and continues to help families navigating similar journeys today.

“I am so grateful that MSK gifted my aunt an extra two years with us before she passed away,” says Danielle. "I hope that MSK is able to fund more research and clinical trials for rare cancers.”

Suralink’s commitment reaches beyond our customers to the firms and communities they influence. While the desire to give back may be infinite, human resources are not. Suralink is proud to help its partners escape the limits of capacity, providing support as they redefine their impact and create a better world.
